PacNet - Hello World in Body Painting
Remarkable as it sounds, me and my fabulous runway artisans came with ingenious ideas for our esteemed clients especially for PacNet in short, Pacific Internet during its heyday in early 2000s.
As i recalled, we incorporated bodypainting into a skit cum spoof to inject elements of fun that convey corporate objective with a difference.
Simply, we are there to instill publicity stunts.
Although the talents in this instant, Jeff ( who is a flight attendant with SQ), Rudy (the forever Diva), Noris (the doiyant of theatre) & of course, Sharmilah (the social entrepreneur & founder of BigIsGorgeous were clever in conveying the corporate messages in gusto.
They were body painted and costumes were made to replicate the Age of Technology... and the battery operated Wall Light... a touch of avant garde to the costume.
I guess, we were the first to OUT-wit, OUT-do, OUT-play our competitors in terms of creativity... darn!.. we should have just set up theatre company instead.. oh well.. what a heck.. after all, with OUT Of The Closet Productions coined by me in the late 1990s, we were thronged with brilliant and creative ideas to stimulate and enhance our esteemed clients corporate objectives with a difference.
Then i decided to take a break... alright... rather a heck of a long holiday and somehow... realised
at the end of the day... the holiday just had to stop... i mean really.
Inception of Runway Concepts in 2007, in partnership with my life partner, Albert Low has renewed my vow to inspire and nourish the incessant hunger for creativity.
And we have not look back since and will continue to spur our creative juices to all our event partners and clients alike.
I am so blessed to be able to see and serve all our clients who are still in the same industry and those have moved on to various industries and glad to see progress made by our talents like Shawn (Fujitsu Butterfly) who is now Singapore Airlines pilot... Romeo Tan... finalist on StarSearch 2010 and a renown household brand... how about that for inspiration.
Thank you everyone for all your supports all these years.
Bless you.
